Clémont is a small village and its houses, typical of the Sologne country, are nestled around the church. The town hall was set up in an old mill. The Sauldre canal crosses the village; a whole network of streams and a well spread equipment used to controle the hydraulic energy throughout the area. At Clémont it is still possible to come across this kind of industrial heritage. An old water mill called « Moulin d’Abas » stands as a proof of this.
