In 1953, a biscuit christened “sablé de Nançay” was first produced in a Sologne village following a mistake with a recipe.
The tradition of an artisanal and family manufacture preserved for more than 60 years in order to guarantee the quality of the product. Its success is now worth it to be produced at 2 tons per week according to the original recipe.
Over time, it has become an emblematic and essential product of the Centre-Val de Loire region.
A personalized welcome will be reserved for the groups in order to get acquainted with our history and discover our manufacturing secrets (or almost...).
