Discover the chivalrous and historical universe of the Scottish epic in Pays-Fort.
Departing from Aubigny-sur-Nère (equestrian platform), the circuit can be done in both directions, by the West or by the East.
If you leave Aubigny-sur-Nère heading east in the direction of Oizon, you will be guided through the Stuart country to the Château de la Verrerie, a historic monument.
Then continue towards Bréviande and the forest leads to the town of Ivoy-le-Pré with a welcome possible in the guest rooms La Verrerie at M. de Saporta's.
Then go back to La Chapelle d´Angillon, very close by, where you will discover its castle.
The second part of the circuit goes up towards more Solognot landscapes, quite flat, between Presly, Ménétreol-sur-Sauldre (campsite), Sainte-Montaine where a visit is essential to the miraculous Belle Fontaine chapel before returning to Aubigny-sur-Nère.
