A Flanders dance workshop led by Gabriel Lenoir is on offer to make the most of the Bal Folk.
THE VANDAL
Three long-time friends, practically bottle-fed together. "We like to find in our music the festive force of Eastern music, the melodies that thrill, the rhythms that take you away. We're inspired by the music of Eire, the sounds of the East, the rhythms of here: no borders! La Vandale!
SHILLELAGH
Shillelagh's repertoire includes dances from French Flanders, the musicians' native region (Pieternelle, Gavre, Malinoise, Valse Adieu?), as well as more generic dances played in all regions of France (bourrées, cercles, valses, scottishes...).
