Charming circuit, a little hilly but without difficulty through a strong, agricultural and very rural country.
Start the hike in Argent-sur-Sauldre (gîte, campsite and equestrian center) and go up to the Sauldre canal, which you cross at the Launay lock.
You can, if you are not in a hurry, follow the canal (blue path authorized) to Blancafort.
Then continue towards Barlieu (equestrian center), a former Euro center with a pretty castle, a 15th century fortified house.
Ride towards the valleys of Vailly-sur-Sauldre, visit the famous Grange Pyramidale.
After Villegenon, admire the superb Château de la Verrerie à Oizon, a building classified as a historic monument, and go up towards Aubigny-sur-Nère.
Then go back to the starting point in Argent-sur-Sauldre which offers a beautiful castle and its "Musée des Métiers" (museum of old jobs).
