It is a very short but rural and poetic walking route starting from Clémont or Brinon-sur-Sauldre, two typical Solognot villages which offer lodges, guest rooms and an equestrian center.
An easy route, take some precautions when arriving on the Sauldre canal, which the rider will follow for several kilometers. Footbridges must be passed safely taking into account the experience of the horse, and the banks of the canal suffer in places from holes made by nutria. No danger, but you have to be careful.
In Brinon-sur-Sauldre, cross the Grande Sauldre river by the ford.
A variant is possible via the Sauldre canal to the Etang du Puits, about ten kilometers more on the charming banks of the canal, a very pleasant detour to the largest pond in the Center Region: 180 ha on horseback in the communes of Argent-sur-Sauldre and Cerdon is the largest body of water in the Center Region.
