The Sente Bleue is located on the banks of the Canal de la Sauldre "Sans Queue Ni Tête" which flows from Blancafort in the Cher to Lamotte-Beuvron in the Loir-et-Cher: about 48 kilometres in the heart of nature!
This canal "Sans queue ni tête" as it is nicknamed here is the only French canal that is not connected to a waterway. It has greatly contributed to the economic development of the Sologne region, which it crosses from east to west, notably thanks to the support of Napoleon III, who was very attached to the region.
On this trail, discover the 13 locks linking Blancafort to Brinon-sur-Sauldre via Argent-sur-Sauldre and the Etang du Puits.
