This quiet Sologne village (216 inhabitants) is puzzling with its old tombstones belonging to some unknown rites. It was built on a peatbog ground. The « Landes » peatbog site in the eastern part of Sologne registered as a « frail nature reserve » is one of the last preserved peatbogs of the area.
